Summer Jam

28th - 30th June 2024

Chafford Park

Summer Jam

Welcome to Summertime Jam, a weekend yoga retreat bursting with all the ingredients needed to inspire joy, laughter and wellness. Open-air yoga, fresh seasonal salads, star-lit evenings, swimming, not to mention a few secret ingredients to fill the longer daylight hours. A time to share experiences that ripen our sense of well-being and vitality where 'the living is easy'.

Carefully crafted by the dream team of Lucy & Greta at Flow this weekend retreat is not to be missed. We’ll be staying within the stunning Chafford Park in Kent, dating back to the 17th century. You’ll be free to roam their 300-plus acres of ancient woodland including a wild meadow field, vast pond and flowing river.

Much like our Winter Yoga Jam edition, which is now in its 9th glorious year, every aspect of this weekend has been designed to offer you the most luxurious well-being escape.

Sometimes, we need time away to unplug from our day-to-day so we can fully relax and recharge. Take time for yourself in the middle of the year with a fully inclusive retreat.

Reconnect with your body, relax your mind and spend time with like-minded souls!

All bookings must be made by Friday 14th June for catering and planning purposes.

Our Venue

Chafford Park

Only a stone’s throw from Tunbridge Wells, Chafford Park is tucked away in a picturesque valley, located between the villages of Ashurst and Fordcombe and a hop and skip from Groombridge.

Once you’ve driven down the long winding drive towards the ample parking area you feel like you’re stepping back in time and into the warm embrace of nature at its finest.

There are two barns at Chafford Park where many of our group activities will be held unless the sunshine calls us out onto the awaiting fields.

Expect to take a long sigh as you arrive and begin to roam free amongst the trees, beside the pond and beyond into the ancient woodland and running streams.

Sprinkling joy into June

Get ready to step into the wild, explore the ‘soft animal of your body’*, tune into your authentic self and tune out the world for a while. This retreat will invite an opportunity to unplug, restore and reset, nourishing and recharging yourself for the months to come.

Our Summertime Jam is not limited in numbers so expect Chafford Park to expand into a Flow festival feel, full of smart, compassionate individuals with warm hearts, big smiles and open arms.

Your Retreat Guides

Greta & Lucy have been teaming up and running Yoga Jams together for over 5 years and have established a winning formula of trust, love and authenticity. For this new summertime adventure expect something a little different that embraces all the delights of a British Summertime.

Think flowers in our hair, yoga practice in T-shirt and shorts, strawberries and cream followed by some wild sounds, open campfires and evening adventures. We’ll be joined by inspiring special guest teachers offering you a few surprises, some new experiences and a chance to expand into the fullness of you.

Lucy Parker

Lucy offers a fully rounded 360-degree approach to health and wellbeing. She has a welcoming and creative approach that uses yogic principles as a steady foundation to help carefully manage the complex demands of everyday life. She has been practising yoga since 1990 and teaching since 2010. She qualified as a registered Counsellor & Coach in 2023, adding an understanding of the human psyche to her extensive knowledge of our unique soma. Lucy incorporates her psychotherapy training into 1:1 and group work to add a depth of awareness for her clients from a fully rounded bio-psycho-social perspective.

Greta Sani

Greta has been practising yoga since 2005 and continues to develop her practice with verve. Yoga has guided her through sometimes choppy waters including major surgery but ultimately, it makes her feel strong, flexible and centred in mind/body; this she passionately transmits in her teaching. Greta’s classes authentically weave the ancient yogic tradition into a relevant modern practice re-connecting innate body/breath wisdom.  She has become a much-loved and respected teacher locally and in London since she qualified from Triyoga (390hrs) in 2017.

Julia Leitner

Hello my name is Julia aka Next Stop is Venus. Just to say, the alter ego wasn’t my idea! Some years ago, in my dream this moniker was whispered into my ear. And, as I take heed of such messages, you now find me journeying on a path of sound, music and healing. As a lifelong musician, I draw on my experience with reiki, anthroposophic homeopathy, astrology, yoga and more.

During the sonic voyage, the listeners lie down to receive cosmic harmonies created by gongs, alchemy crystal bowls as well as voice and other ancient instruments. A safe space to relax and drop into a deep meditative state enhancing high levels of creativity, insights, ideas, flow and transformation. Benefits associated with sound meditations include improving sleep issues and reducing stress levels and anxiety.

Julia will be blessing us with her harmonies on both Friday and Saturday evening.

We are also thrilled to be joined by Flow’s own Alice Bowen, who brings us a glorious Rhythm is a Dancer session to move, dance and express ourselves fully on Saturday evening and Sonja Aiken, who will be running a soothing, sensory journey through her Aroma Yoga session as well as enticing you to take a dip in the Chafford streams.

Together our Flow collective will offer you a fantastic, sweet jam of yogic treats. We’ve got you covered with gentle meditation and inward reflection with Lucy, poetic yogic sequencing and uplifting movement with Greta and some wonderful challenges and opportunities to try new teachers, practices and experiences at each event.
