The body has an innate capacity to self-regulate and thrive through connecting to natural resources within us, and around us in the world.
"Resourcing" is the practice of identifying and engaging with the felt experience of internal or external sources of strength, safety, and comfort to support the nervous system and promote emotional regulation.
Resources can be physical sensations, memories, relationships, or anything that evokes a sense of safety, trust, groundedness, calm, or empowerment.
Movement can be an enriching support to engage with these resources, and to create a sense of stability and resilience in the body, that enhances our capacity to regulate emotions, navigate challenges and adversity, and thrive in daily life.
This workshop will include:
Breath awareness
Somatic movement
Yogasana flow
Yin and restorative practice
Deep relaxation practice
Closing meditation and reflection
When: Friday 3rd October, 10 am - 3 pm
Cost: £80, including lunch
