I wish I could show you, When you are lonely or in darkness. The Astonishing Light of your own Being!
(from My Brilliant Image, by Hafez)
Let us gather together on this Summer Solstice day to celebrate light, both above and within.
Join Lucy, Founder of Flow, for this full-day retreat into your innermost light of being.
Poetry, sound, silence, and reflection will be our focus. We will move, explore, share, sit and eat together in community. Honouring our shared connection and gathering wisdom and growth from contemplation and awareness.
Prepare to float out of Flow with a brightened light of presence, compassion, and joy.
We will join to share reflective and soothing practices that can be adopted and nurtured as part of your ongoing daily commitment to your self-development and well-being.
The bespoke structure of our day:
Having sat together in a circle and set our intentions for the day, we will spend the morning celebrating movement and expression through yoga, sound, poetry and breath. After lunch, our focus will shift towards stillness and silent contemplation through meditation and journaling. We will end the day with a long and deep yoga nidra practice designed to reset your nervous system and enable you to step back into your life with calm, confidence and joy.
Woven throughout the day will be the IFS - Internal Family Systems - foundations of parts and Self, where we will begin to understand ourselves as a beautiful & complex matrix of parts held and supported through the compassion and creativity of Self.
Tailored to include:
Gentle somatic & sensory yoga movement
Meditation & breath practice
