“Who am I, what defines me?” 

Most of us get stuck, not getting past the superficial aspects of ourselves:  the shape of our bodies; strong, thin, our profession, relational; sister, mother or personality type; serious, funny etc. etc.  

In the yoga tradition, to truly know your “self” requires an inward journey of self-discovery through the Pancha Koshas ( 5 sheaths).  By exploring and peeling back each interconnected layer, from the dense to the more subtle, we follow a road map that guides us closer to the essence of who we are.  And, with that awakening, the vulnerabilities associated with disconnection from wholeness begin to dissolve. 

We are no longer a slave to the effects of surface change or the external environment.  By coming home to our truth we begin to  find ourselves empowered by a more expansive and universal state of being, a sense of resting in our own bliss.  For five months, from April to August Greta invites you to take the steps to find your way back home to the “Self”  and explore your layers of being.

 11th April: 1) Anamaya Kosha – Physical Sheath

 16th May: 2) Pranamaya Kosha – Energetic Sheath

13 June: 3) Manomaya Kosha – Mental/Emotional Sheath

11 July: 4) Vijnanamaya Kosha – Inner Knowing (Wisdom) Sheath

15 August: 5) Anandamaya Kosha – The Bliss Sheath

When: Friday 11 April, 16 May, 13 June, 11 July, 15 August from 11.30 am - 2 pm.

Greta Sani

Greta has been practising yoga since 2005 and continues to develop her practice with verve. Yoga has guided her through sometimes choppy waters, including major surgery, but ultimately, it makes her feel strong, flexible and centred in mind/body; this she passionately transmits in her teaching. Greta’s classes authentically weave the ancient yogic tradition into a relevant modern practice re-connecting innate body/breath wisdom. 

She has become a much-loved and respected teacher locally at Flow and accross London since she qualified from Triyoga (390hrs) in 2017.
